Jørgen Slings, Quest Software

Joergen Slings is the Business Development Manager in EMEA for the Java product line. He has been in the IT industry since 1985, and worked for companies such as IBM, Attachmate and Wollongong. Joergen has an extensive background in Business Development from a technical perspective. He has performed these tasks in fields ranging from the (on-line) video games industry to web content-management and services. He held several management positions with IBM and was co-founder and CTO for Europe's first video game portal. He has Dutch nationality and currently lives in France.

Abstract:

Quest Software and LIBeLIS will demonstrate what it takes to detect and diagnose performances issues in J2EE applications. This presentation and demonstration covers an end to end coverage of system monitoring by showing an entire suite of Application System Management solutions for J2EE. It will specifically focus on performance issues related to Enterprise Information Access.

The demonstration used has no dependency on database models, so you will be shown how to detect, diagnose and solve these problems on the fly and monitor the results in a variety of real world enterprise configurations.
